Three Arrested for Possible Gunshots in Los Banos

LOS BANOS, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Three people were arrested after reports of possible gunshots in Los Banos Friday, police said.

Two 19-year-olds, Andrik Flores and Christopher Amador Perez, were arrested and are facing charges for contributing to the delinquency of a minor, according to police.

On March 20 at approximately 10:21 p.m., officers responded to the area of Nevada Ave and W J Street following reports of possible gunshots.

An officer was in the area and saw a black Escalade that had five people in it, three of them being teens. However, all of them were under the age of 21 and police said they were all smoking marijuana.

Officers found an unregistered, loaded black handgun hidden beneath the rear passenger seat. Police said that the guns belonged to one of the teens, who was arrested on multiple firearm-related charges. They were transported to the Merced County Juvenile Detention Center.

Another teen was cited for having marijuana.
